Ran 5000 BTU AC all night on 200ah battery - recharged back to 100% by 11am next day on one solar panel

start of test

7am next day - battery around 70% and sun coming up

End of test - 11am next day - back to 13.52 and 100%

Here are the items I'm using:

The solar controller you use must be sized to the battery and panel(s) you are using. If you want to change the battery or panels I used you will need to calculate the size of controller needed. This video will help you determine the size you need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJBGbufexEM
The battery cables you use will depend on the length of the connection and the amps drawn.
I have a link to a DC wiring chart at the bottom of this page: https://bestfavoritesbestof.blogspot.com/p/solar-resources.html

Here is the breaker, fuse and bus bar:

If you want to monitor your usage a shunt is perfect.

Keep your AC unit as small and efficient as possible so as not to drain your battery(s). Here is the unit I am using:

This is a DIY setup and if you are not familiar with electrical systems you should consult a professional before working with any of this.
