This is the heater I am using and the connectors and collectors themselves arrived on time and are also very high quality 

Additional connectors

I used the pool discharge as a way to send filtered pool water to the collectors. I needed a 2” to 1” adapter for that.

I also used 3 1” PVC pipes and 2 elbows and 1 coupling to create the return of hot water into the pool.

I added a 1” to 3/4” adapter to the end of the PVC return to allow connection of the 1/2” pipe to the pool

I also added another “ to 3/4” adapter to the input of the 1st collector so I could connect the hose.

I added 2 more PVC pipes to cover sections of hose for additional protection 

And finally I put on another female end to the hose to connect to the pool discharge. 

I used 1/2 irrigation tubing to run for the PVC back up into the pool 

One other component you may want to consider is flex seal tape.  I needed this to seal up the return of the 1/2 pipe above back into the pool.  It actually did a great job on that seal and I have used it in several other repairs around the house.
